I was asked to file this in bugzilla for 5.0 It is a dup of 314593 on Netscape internal bug system. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Copying and pasting from the main Communicator window to the "Upload files to this location" text field in Composer's File->Publish... dialog causes both Composer and Communicator to hang. Customer reported this for 4.05 and Solaris 2.6; hackett observed it with 4.06 and Solaris 2.5.1 To reproduce: 1. Start Communicator, and also start Composer. 2. In Communicator, select some text and choose Edit->Copy. 3. Now in Composer, choose File->Publish... and a dialog will pop up. 4. In the Publish dialog, click on the "Upload files to this location" text field and hit the Paste keyboard key. This should hang netscape every time.

The current plan doesn't even include a publish dialog, so this bug is meaningless for the near term. Marking LATER.

Let's leave this as a "Later" bug if/when publishing becomes a feature. We will test against it then.

LATER is going away; reopening to mark invalid, since it was a 4.x bug.

4.x bug, no such dialog in the mozilla codebase (and when one is eventually added, it will be all new code).
