After using the Prefs dialog, tables suddenly render with borders

Details
To reproduce:
1. Have a browser window open on www.mozilla.org
2. Open the preferences dialog, change something minor (i changed my home page
URL)
3. OK the prefs dialog.
Note now that the mozilla.org page renders with table borders, which is wrong.

I reported this behavior in http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=17617.
I'm not sure if I was on crack that day when I typed "framesets" instead of
tables. Anyways, it was marked duplicate of another bug which does not appear to
be related. Hopefully this one will not be resolved in the same manner.
