User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312
When i start up Mozilla 1.4 and the mail client is set to start up
automaticly, the browser window is places below the mail window.
This is also the case for "Release candidate 1 and 2", and mozilla 1.31
The other builds i've tried (1.01, 1.21, 1,3) starts the mail client up below
the browser window.
Why is this a problem? - You may ask
I'm using the "Stofanet.dk" internet provider in Denmark, and it's a system
where you have to log on before accessing the internet.
So each time i start up Mozilla, i have go down on the process bar and choose
navigator pane and the log on.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Start up Mozilla 1.4, Mozilla 1.4 rc1,rc2 and Mozilla 1.31 with the mail
client set to start up along with it
2.
3.
Actual Results:
Navigator and the mail client starts up with the mail client window placed above
the navigator window.
Expected Results:
Navigator and the mail client should start up with the mail client window placed
below the navigator window.

To fix this bug requires some re-writing of the XPFE bootstrap. Mozilla only
knows that it should also start Mail when XPFE loads.
I can confirm with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5a)
Gecko/20030718 (Win32-mingw-gcc)

Given that mail and browser are working on becoming separate apps, it's not
clear how worthwhile working to fix this is...

This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01".
This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.
While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a
copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and
you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.
If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
Thank you for your help in this matter.
