very frustrating but i finallty figuredf ut how to reproduce

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
First find about 40 links or until Site/Date/Most Visited/last Visted has scroll
bars

A)then set date and time as default. switch to one of the others. notice
scrollbar at bottom and extra space. then switch back to date and time and its gone

B) then set anything but date and time as default. notice scroll bar on top.
then switch to date and time. then switch to something else. then switch back to
date and time and notice its invisible
Actual Results:  
date and time invisible and 
switching from date and time to other should make scrollbar on top

Expected Results:  
date and time visible

I expect fixing this bug would also fix the scroll bar thing

Not present in 05/17/2003

present in 07/06/2003 and up

haven't tested before 07/06

if date and time has a scroll bar 
then switching to another option will make scroll bar on top and not bottom and
date and time won't dissappear

but if date and time doesn't have scroll bar, 
switches to another thing which does have a scroll bar and 
switching back to date and time
then date and time dissappears

Click and roll mouse wheel on the blank sidebar.

find a related checkin.
