Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open up the developer Quartz Debug application. 2. Look at how often the field redraws while browsing and not using the field. (check the following check boxes: 1. flash screen updates 2. no delay) Actual Results: Quartz is constantly redrawing the field which isn't necesary. Expected Results: Field should only redraw when it's actually used. I have notified Prachi Gauriar's (he made the google searh field) and he is looking into the problem.
