User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.5a) Gecko/20030718 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.5a) Gecko/20030718 I opened a page that required the flash plug-in. I am a new user, I had 2 windows open. With IE I can load a plug-in without killing all of the windows. I followed the steps, loaded the plug-in and voila, lost everything in the second window that I needed. This is a pain because I needed everything in the second Mozilla window and now I have to recreate it. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open multiple Mozilla windows. 2.Download and Install Flash plug-in according to instructions. 3. Actual Results: It installed the plug-in but killed all of the windows. Expected Results: Apply the plug-in to the window that it was in, leaving other Mozilla windows without until re-opened (the Microsoft way) OR warn the user that ALL windows will be closed and give the option of cancelling the install.
Do you downlaoded the installer from macromedia ? (it should warn you...)
