User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.5b) Gecko/20030723

When you load news.bbc.co.uk it presents page asking whether you are in UK or
not. Buttons "Yes" and "No" are not shown there. When mouse goes over the
(supposed) buttons the cursor changes to a hand, but clicking there does
nothing. When I right-click the supposed button and select 'View image' from the
menu, I see the correct image. This page works fine with netscape 7.1 (win2k)
and mozilla 1.4 (linux)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Load http://news.bbc.co.uk
2.
3.

Actual Results:
Yes and No buttons not displayed.

Expected Results:
Display the buttons
WFM - current CVS based trunk Firebird build - Linux.

Maybe your cache is a little full ?

Did you try emptying your cache ?
Yes - it doesn't help. Todays Firebird nightly build doesn't work either. Also
installed todays build on different computer - same result.
Strange. No problem seeing it at all.

Got an idea. Did you touch to images display settings recently ? I mean, wanting
to display only images from originating server ?

For Mozilla, Edit / preferences / privacy & security / Images.
No, it says accept all images. I also cleared all my image site permissions
before submitting this bug.

Now, I also installed latest nightly build of Firebird on my linux box and got
the same behavior - so it is consistent and happens on 3 different boxes - 2
win2k and on RH linux 10 beta.

Did you try this with latest nighly build of either Mozilla of Firebird?
It is working with a 10 minutes old CVS based trunk build.

I am making my own build since 1.3alpha days (or before ?)

I can see both buttons.

My about:

Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.5b) Gecko/20030724

My homemade firebird nightly is 3 hours CVS old and it works too.

I cannot understand at all what is happening to you.
reproducable on build 2003072304 Windows XP.

This seems to be a some kind of regression.

In fact, I can't see any <input type="image"
buttons on _any_ site.
It should a windows only bug, cause I can see those *damn* buttons with linux
mozilla binaries.
As I already sayd, I see this on linux also with latest firebird build.
Known regression. Code was backed out yesterday. Should be working in the next
new builds.
