User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; .NET CLR 1.0.3705; Alexa Toolbar) Build Identifier: This may be hard to reproduce as it may be time dependent, but Firebird indicated "stopped" in the lower left and further browsing would not occur. The interface remained active and the tab did display "loading". I had two Firebird windows running at the time, one with two tabs, one with only one. All tabs in both windows were equally unresponsive. I brought up IE just to rule out a connection issue and browsing was fine. I then closed both Firebird windows, but a Mozilla task still remained open according to Window task manager, under processes. I installed the build from 7/23 and I'm running fine, but I won't know if this problem exists unless I leave Firebird idle for several hours or overnight. One other factor could be that one window was running an intro animation which may or may not have influenced the "stopped" state. That site was "www.denon.com" and the animation was still running despite the "stopped" indication. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Expected Results: Would expect a way to restart the engine with reloading the application, or would not expect a permanent Stop state to occur

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6a) Gecko/20031027 Firebird/0.7+ WinXP SP1 Steps to reproduce. 1. Make sure status bar is showing 2. Open at least 2 tabs 2. Enter/select a URL 3. Stop the page before it loads completely 4. Notice that the status bar displays stopped in all tabs Note this works with most status bar text. If you have a page that has not loaded "Transferring data from foo.org" will be displayed in the status bar for all tabs. Expected behavior. When tab is selected only that tab's status bar information is displayed. Mozilla 1.5 has close to expected behavior. If one selects the second tab the stopped text is not displayed but when you select the 1st tab again stopped is not remembered, the status bar is blank. One would expect to still see stopped displayed when going back to the first tab.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6b) Gecko/20031216 Firebird/0.7+ I was able to reproduce this bug. The status bar text appears to be whatever tab was last used. If I open 2 tabs and do something in tab A its status text will appear in tab B's status bar when I switch to tab B.
Is the problem that it was unresponsive or that it had the status from another window/tab? The latter is a known bug. Animations running != Stopped I have left my browser idle overnight and never experienced a problem.
