User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; WinNT4.0; en-US; rv:1.4b) Gecko/20030516 Mozilla Firebird/0.6
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; WinNT4.0; en-US; rv:1.4b) Gecko/20030516 Mozilla Firebird/0.6

Form buttons don't perform the actions that they should in Firebird, on certain
web pages.
When you fill out fields in a form, and then click on the button that should
perform an action, nothing is done.
I found this on web pages developed in Hebrew, for Microsoft Internet Explorer.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
I know that the above URL probably won't be readable by you, but you don't need
to understand the text to reprodce the bug:
1. Go to the URL I gave
2. Type any number in the RIGHT two text boxes (e.g. 10 and 10), and make sure
that any text is selected in the third button from the left. (The default value
of GPS is ok)
3. Click on the red button. It is supposed to calculate a number - shipping
charges for a product, and store it in the leftmost box, but the box remains blank.

Actual Results:
Nothing. The text box remained blank instead of getting a value.

Expected Results:
Printed a number in the leftmost box.

This problem occurs also on the following site:
http://www.whereto.co.il/Run.htm
This is a map site that lets you type in an address and search for the map, but
on Firebird it does nothing when you click on its search button.
This also occurs in Mozilla 2003072104, so is not Firebird specific.

I don't understand all of the script here, but I suspect this is IE-specific
JavaScript syntax, since the script later does a clear document.all call (IE
specific coding) with no alternative for other browsers.

->TE, leaving unconfirmed for now

How about making an extension/plug-in to support MS-specific JavaScript.
Evangelism won't help when web designers use automated web design software that
is user-friendly but "accidently" creates Microsoft-specific web pages.
You can't convince all web sites to change their design process, it is easier
to break from the standards compliance and support the odd code.
Mozilla is never going to support document.all. Previously decided in bug 74201.
Confirmed with Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.6b)
Gecko/20031129 Firebird/0.7+

BTW, the whereto site doesn't load at all.

Summary: Form doesn't perform any action when clicking on the appropriate button → mustop.com: Form doesn't perform any action when clicking on the appropriate button
Calculation works, with JS warnings (which I see on Firebug) only.
INCOMPLETE due to lack of activity since the end of 2009.
