using 12/10 build of apprunner (1999121008) 1) launch apprunner 2) launch editor 3) pull-down alignment to right or center you should see the cursor move to right or center. it doesn't. Also even after you change alignment to right or center and start typing, it starts typing at the beginning of the line..Thus it doesn't even work at all... all platforms.

Summary: alignment doesnt work → alignment doesn't work when there's no content
Alignment works when applied to existing content, but not with a blank doc. This is Joe's arena and there might already be a bug on the general problem of setting attributes when nothing has been typed yet.

my part is fixed, but the selection doens't work right. Mike/Kin: note that after you choose alignment center on an empty document, the selection goes someplace odd. I'm setting it to inside the div, but the caret is popping up to someplace else (before the div). I suspect the code that finds the frame for the caret has a bug. I'm closing this bug out and opening a new one against Mike. To verify this bug note that you can click lower in the document and actually get your cursor into the center-aligned div (it's really there). Or you can dump the content model and see the div there. New bug is 23833, asigned to mjudge.
