There are still numerous uses for sidebar panels... hyatt's Web Panels was a first step but didn't allow users to store bookmarks how they want, nor was it properly removable etc. I am proposing a property for bookmarks that if set opens that bookmark in an HTML sidebar panel. This means you can, for instance, have a bookmark to the Movable Type post form that opens in the sidebar instead of popping up an annoying new window, and you can also keep your MT Post bookmark where you want it, e.g. conveniently placed on your personal toolbar.
