In the Mozilla 1.4 mail client you can specify whether or not you want to save
addresses that you have sent email too. This option doesn't exist in
Thunderbird 0.1.

This should be closed.
This functionality exists by going to Tools -> Options -> Advanced -> Email
Address Collection.
