When clickin a link that opens the window to choose whether to download the
file, or to open it from its current location, while Immersion TouchWare Desktop
2.9.0.5  (the software used by Logitech's iFeel mouse to provide force feedback)
is in memory with the foreces enabled, the window to choose to download or open
will open, then Firebird will crash.

This is tested under 0.6, 0.6.1, And several nightlies around 07/29/2003
Problem does not repeat in Mozilla 1.4 and earlier, not tested under 1.5a

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Get a Logitech iFeel Mouse(hardest step)
2. Install latest version of iFeel software(Immersion TouchWare Desktop 2.9.0.5)
and Logitech Mouse driver.
3. Click on a link that would open the Open/Download dialog.

Actual Results:  
Firebird will Crash..

Expected Results:  
Should have shown the Download/Open choise window

None known of, problem occurs across all Firebird versions and all links and all
themes, and extensions, blank and filled profiles I have tried.

probably along the same lines as bug 203774 (Fix crashes from accessibility
rewrite) but I'm not sure.

confirming based on comment 2, likely accessibility-related.

Same bug with a TabletPC and Windows XP, both with Firebird 0.6.1 and nighty at
2003/09/23.

Everything works for me.

I first started touchware then started mozilla firebird.

I used mozilla firebird Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6b)
Gecko/20031214 Firebird/0.7+
Immersion touchware 2.9.0.5

Downloaded 2 files from 2 different sites.

1 where it asks me to save the file
2 where it is automatically saved to a folder.

Both went fine.

reporter, if you can replicate with a clean profile and install, please reopen
and indicate what build you can replicate with.
