User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5a) Gecko/20030728 Mozilla Firebird/0.6.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5a) Gecko/20030728 Mozilla Firebird/0.6.1 If selecting any scroll bar in Firebird (including ones in the Options menu) for an extended period of time (anything from a few seconds to a couple of minutes) the scroll bar becomes stuck and cannot be dragged. Arrow keys and scroll wheels still work. This has only occurred since upgrading to 0.6.1 from 0.6.0. An easy work around is to refresh the page. This only affects one scroll bar at a time. So if one scroll bar is broken others still work. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Select any scroll bar with the left mouse button. 2.Hold the mouse button down whilst moving the scroll bar if you wish. 3.Eventually you will not be able to move the scroll bar by moving the mouse even if you deselect and select it. Actual Results: The scroll bar would not move by selecting it with the left mouse button. Expected Results: The scroll bar should move. The old folder was deleted and a new profile was created when upgrading.

WFM with the 20030731 build on W2K. I held the selection for up to 30 secons, but it worked fine.

I've determind that this bug only occurrs if using the calendar application Rainlendar (http://vapaa.dc.inet.fi/~rainy/Rainlendar.html) and the only if you tell this application to synchronise with your MS Outlook appointments (at least O2000). It seems that Rainlander attempts to access MS Outlook, every couple of minutes, when it checks your appointments. At that point Outlook launches for a split second, attempts to steal focus and then quickly closes. Doing some more investigation I've discovered that any scroll bar (includings ones embeded in web pages and ones in menus) become stuck if they are being used whilst any Windows application launches. I've been able to determine this as I have shortcut keys on my keyboard that can launch applications like Outlook, Calculator and IE.

I've now also observed this bug occurring when my Firewall (Kerio PF) launches a pop-up window to ask me for permission for something. I'm not sure if this counts as an application launching or whether any pop-up window can cause this bug. For that matter I'm not sure if pop-up windows count as applications launching.

I've had this same problem with Mozilla 1.5 on Windows XP, and I don't use any obsure calendaring applications. I can't pinpoint what causes this to occur for me (the original posters reproduction steps don't work), but it happens regularly. Are there any further debugging steps to take to determing the cause?
