Details

with MacOS 8.5ja, with Netscape5-Mac-M12-1999120716: 1. Delete Mozilla Registry. 2. Launch Netscape5. 3. In Profile Manager, select next button to create new user. 4. In 2nd window, click "change directory". 5. In dialog window, select a directory with Japanese characters as the default user directory and dismiss dialog. 6. In Profile Manager window, name of new default user directory is displayed as a corrupt string.
Severity: normal → major
Set priority to major because this indicates that Profile Manager fails to handle double-byte characters correctly, which causes more problems than cosmetic ones.
