Details

On the bug submission form, type the text "http://aa" in the URL window. type Control-X to cut that text. type control-V to PASTE that text (the URL). The result is TWO copies of the text, not one (In fact, this bug manifests itself in all text input areas (ie: both INPUT=TEXT as well as TEXTAREA fields.

dup of 20519. The problem is we're in transition between the hacky hardwired key bindings we had, and real honest-to-goodness configurable key bindings. Bug 20519 describes what needs to get done to complete that transition. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 20519 ***
