I am using the Debian (i386) m11 release, and the dave barry articles seem to be
missing characters, seemingly at random. The character is still missing from
View Frame Source. No characters are missing from Communicator 4.7, viewing the
same pages.
I suspect this is a duplicate of bug 19487, which has been fixed, but it should
be tested in a recent build...

Using a debian pre-m12 version of mozilla, based off of a 12.14.1999 build, I

can no longer reproduce this bug. It happened with enough frequency that I have

reason to believe it has been fixed; I haven't seen the problem since the new

build, and I have spent far too much time online recently.

I've not seen this bug in A Very Long Time Now. Looks quite fixed.
