User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5a) Gecko/20030718 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5a) Gecko/20030718 Browser: Mozilla 1.5 alpha OS: Windows XP In the 3-pane window, when the list of messages in the trash folder are shown, emptying trash shows "garbage" containing mail icons and dots, but the subject, date, and the from: columns are cleared, as if there are 'ghost messages'. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Select the trash icon for any account (including local folder) 2. Right-click Trash icon 3. Select "Delete Messages" Actual Results: Only the text disappear, and the dots turn translucent Expected Results: cleared the whole message list panel A workaround I noticed is that selecting another folder, and then back to the trash will delete those 'ghost messages'. This appears only in Mozilla 1.5 alpha (i.e. does not appear in Mozilla 1.4)
Confirming on a current Linux CVS build.
