Details

Bold attribute apparently selects a bold version of a font family and also draws
in the bold style resulting in overly bold text
Status: NEW → ASSIGNED
Maybe this bug is invalid or duplicate of #2153... we need to check.
To reproduce, open test0.html with Viewer and Communicator: look at the line
"This is a paragraph with font variations: Bold Arial, Italic Verdana, COURIER,
Times New Roman.". The bold attribute isn't applied the same way in the 2
windows.

Verified duplicate (and also fixed; bold text appears as bold.)

[Text kerning overall appears too tight, but that's a separate issue.]
Note that the double bold problem may be what's causing the tight kerning (bold
bold is pretty wide)
The text is Bold and Condense. Condense is what we draw small caps in ( I am not
sure why ) and why I imagine the kerning seems tight.
My fault, I think.. Small-caps should not be displayed condensed. I just checked-
in a fix.
