User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; WinNT4.0; en-US; rv:1.5b) Gecko/20030805 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; WinNT4.0; en-US; rv:1.5b) Gecko/20030805 see above link: evatualtion of content (header etc) will not behave correctly when file-extension is wrong. IE does not do so Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Expected Results: view correct
This isn't because Mozilla is treating the file extension differently. The page is being served as text/plain, so Mozilla is treating it as plain text like the server says to. That IE doesn't do this is an IE bug. The site needs to fix the server setting, and/or fix the file extension. I would suggest you write them and ask them to. ->TE

termine.html1 is still present on the server but the real content is now at http://www.hamburg-inline.de/html/termine.html . They even have a Get Firefox button on their site.
