User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5a) Gecko/20030718
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5a) Gecko/20030718

I have view threads with unread set.
I press 'N' to goto next message.
I press 'Delete' to delete that message.
The thread disappears from the mail list but the body next message in the thread
is shown. Pressing 'N' will go to the next message in the thread, it's just the
thread is not shown in the list of messages

Problem did not occur in Mozilla 1.4

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. I have view threads with unread set.
2. I press 'N' to goto next message.
3. I press 'Delete' to delete that message.

Actual Results:
The thread disappears from the mail list but the body next message in the thread
is shown. Pressing 'N' will go to the next new message in the thread, it's just
the thread is not shown in the list of messages.

Expected Results:
The thread list should remain visible.

Problem did not occur in Mozilla 1.4
See bug 154403, particularly the second symptom described in the original
posting. However, that's an old bug; even if this is the same symptom, it's
probably worth keeping open as its own bug, particularly if the behavior is new
to 1.5.

Dave Kimberley, can you attach a screenshot of the problem?
Does the final screen at all resemble the screenshot attached to bug 213803?
(That is, attachment 128480 [details].)
The CommerceSQL thread has disappeared from the top frame but it still contains
messages, next and delete buttons still work on mesages within the invisible
thread.

The screen does not resemble attachment 128480 [details] but I have also seen that
problem.
The problem is not reproduceble in at least buld 2003082404 (it really existed
earlie).
I have downloaded the latest nightly and the problem has disappeared.

I see the related problem in 1.5 beta under Win2k SP4. Something has happened
and Mozilla mail started to damage the view of headers in the node mode. Closing
mail client without closing Mozilla didn't help. See the attachment with the
screenshots.
