User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win 9x 4.90; en-US; rv:1.4b) Gecko/20030516 Mozilla Firebird/0.6 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win 9x 4.90; en-US; rv:1.4b) Gecko/20030516 Mozilla Firebird/0.6 O/S is Windows Me with all patches and updates loaded. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Launch Firebird 2. Go to any website with .pdf files for loading for viewing or downloading. 3. More often than not, system then locks up. Doesn't happen on same site with IE. Actual Results: Tried "back" button/function...doesn't work. System now locked up. Expected Results: One should be able to view a .pdf file in Firebird or go "back" to previous screen viewed without system locking up and having to reboot system. Adobe Reader 6.0 opening file in Firebird
Confirming this bug on Win XP SP1 with Mozilla 1.4 build 20030624. Additional information: I can reproduce this bug only if I the loaded pdf is NOT the first pdf I try to view in this session. Killing AcroRd32.exe in the task manager releases the lock in mozilla. After that pressing back and a new click on the pdf-URL loads the pdf as normal. I assume, that the Acrobat-Plugin is not properly unloaded, reseted, etc. after leaving the first pdf-file with the back button, which causes the acroread-process to hang.
