M15 ??? The fix consists in removing 1 line from packages-mac, as far as I'm
concerned. If you're swamped and can't do this until M15, I can help and check
this change in ... as early as today! (i'm paranoid about the warning that my
automation spits about this...

If you can look at it, go for it.

I took a quick look at Win32 and Unix builds (from yesterday) and found that the
directory netscape\seamonkey\res\xpinstall is NOT empty on these 2 platforms. It
contains:
notification.gif
progress.css
progress.html
progress.xul
SoftwareUpdates.rdf
SoftwareUpdate-Source-1.rdf
Only Mac seamonkey appears to have this dir. not created at build time.
Awaiting confirmation that this is the right thing to do before I remove
'viewer:res:xpinstall:*' from mozilla/xpinstall/packager/packages-mac
Also confirm if that same line should remain in packages-win and packages-unix

adding beta1 keyword and setting m14 checkpoint.
Putting on PDT- radar for beta1. Unless someone can provide specifically why
this is mandatory for beta.

Actually, I think it is already removed from the Mac manifest. I recall JJ
requesting confirmation if this was OK.

Correct. Viewer:res:xpinstall directory was removed from packages-mac, rev. 1.42
Marking fixed.

Reopening. I'm glad it's fixed on the Mac, but Win and Unix still export these
files.
