[Regression] Application window is minimized when at a restored state I hope I chose the correct component; if not, pls reassign. Win32 1999-12-10-09 commercial build The last time you ran Seamonkey, leave your window in a restored state (instead of maximize or minimize) prior to exiting the application. 1) Install Seamonkey 2) Start mozilla.exe 3) Notice that Seamonkey shows up in your task bar, but the application window is no where to be seen. If you right-click on the Seamonkey item in the task bar, you'll see that you can select Maximize. Go ahead and do so. The application window shows up maximized. You'll be able to maximize and minimize the application window. You just won't be able to restore it. Marking Dogfood. Sometimes I need to have windows side-by-side and don't like to read in a maximized state.

Actually, I'm going to remove DOGFOOD. This happens only to one of my profiles. cpratt came to see what was happening. It's really strange. We tried to use the shortcut keys and it brings up the menus, but the window just won't draw.
The problem does seem specific to this one profile on this one machine; I have not seen it reproduce on other machines or profiles. When the Mozilla application window is restored, it's absolutely invisible. lchiang and I were able to bring up contextual menus and window control menus - but that was all, and the Move and Resize commands didn't do anything that we could see. I'm afraid we may have to chalk this one up to random badness...
Might this be related to the problem I see here? That is that Mozilla opens maximized and there is no way to resize it. The middle button in the upper right corner indicates Mozilla is not maximized, but toggling this button back and forth has no effect. Not able to "grab" any side of the window to drag it smaller either. If you minimize the taskbar, Mozilla follows. The Mozilla real estate monster!!!

Worksforme with 122805 mozilla build on NT.
This is working for me, but I've recently gotten feedback from DecisionOne (Netscape support) that some users are seeing this. We'll need to get more info to reproduce.
Marking nsbeta1- bugs as future to get off the radar.

I haven't heard about this problem. Should it be closed until someone reopens it?
