just in case if i am wrong. The so called nightly builds are at current date
except the Firebird-mac.dmg.gz, the one i would like to download...

Steps to Reproduce:
That is a fallout effect from the shutdown of Netscape, and the loss of access
to the box that Mac builds were done on, as I heard it told on Mozillazine.

Unofficial Mac OS X are being done daily by a Moz Mac fan.  See

Reducing severity.  This hasn't blocked Firebird development.

Bill has it right, Mac builds will return, once mozilla.org gets a box for this
purpose.  This isn't a bug, its just a lack of hardware.
