Right click on the link 2. Click on "Save target as..." 3. Choose the specific directory Actual Results: Firebird killed itself. Expected Results: I think it should start the download instead ;)
I tried saving a few links to a directory with ~600 mp3 files. WFM. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5b) Gecko/20030817 Mozilla Firebird/0.6.1+ (debug build)

Please test to see if this is still a problem with newer builds. The downloading mechanism has been updated.
Hi Thomas, Can you please try re-testing the bug you reported with the latest nightly build of Firebird and report back with your findings.
No response from reporter in over six weeks. Resolving WFM. Thomas, if you are still seeing this in a current build from http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firebird/nightly/latest-trunk and a fresh profile, please reopen the bug.
