When editing my address book, I made about 20 or so changes to records. When I
tried to scroll down after saving a change, Mozilla crashed completely. This
happened repeatedly after large numbers of edits.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open address book
2. Edit numerous records (15-20)
3. Crash
Actual Results:
Got the Netscape reporting tool automatically.
Expected Results:
No crash

New information:
I just installed the Palm Hotsync option. Now every time I save a modified AB
card, mozilla crashes. Message is "Instruction at 0x61c56c99 references memory
location 0x00000000".
I know the error address is probably less than helpful.

For convenience I'm copying part of my report of duplicate bug 216325, as it may
shed some additional light (edits do not need to be extensive to cause crash):
Almost every time I edit the First, Last and/or Display names in Address Book,
Mozilla crashes when I try to save the changes. (I've been trying to change
quite a few of these, mainly auto-recorded names that have quotation marks that
put them out of alphabetical order and/or which have been auto-recorded with
names transposed. {Apparently this is another bug.}) Mozilla does not always
crash on saving the first card, but it seems that it does always crash if I edit
a few cards.

New behavior noticed: I can open the AB and delete as many entries as desired
(e.g. clean up dupes). If I double-click any AB entry, edit it, then close that
entry, I immediately get the crash.
This behavior is consistently occuring.
several crashes on editing were reported on 1.5a-timeframe builds. Duping to a
single bug. Reporter, please comment in bug 214554 whether you still experience
this problem in more recent builds.
