In the website:"http://www.chinatimes.com.tw". Browsing 20s latter, it is very
strange that Firebird can't stop the popup advertisement. The main page becomes
blank and marked as "Object Windows" and another POPUP comes out.............In
Mozilla, it does either

This happens in Mozilla as well.  Its a timed redirect to a javascript: open URL:
javascript:window.open('http://act.chinatimes.com.tw/ads/9208/suntory_ft_030815.htm','post1','width=800,height=600')

short of disabling javascript redirects, or javascript URLs, there isn't a good
way of preventing this type of popup.  They could just as easily redirect to a
page that shows the same ad as well.

Its not good practice, but its valid behaviour.
