To see it back, you have to resize your windows as large as you can and maybe the attachements windows will appear. If you have a low resolution, maybe you'll not be able to see the attachements windows at all. I guess this bug happen also with a long "subject" and "to" line. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Find a message with an attachments and a long "from" line. 2. Resize the message pane as large as you can (or your window). The purpose of this action is to resize the header of the message you find in #1. Actual Results: At one moment the attachments windows will disappear and you don't have any horizontal scroll bar to get it back. Expected Results: At least you should have a scroll bar to reach the attachments windows, or any other way to reach the attachments windows. My resolution is 1024 x 768 and some time I have just enough space to see the attachements windows on some of the messages I receive. I guess the person with a 800 x 600 will miss the attachements windows sometimes. I use the theme "Orbit 3+1 126.96.36.199.7.1". I did not try this bug the classic theme. I'll do this right now to see.
Created attachment 130079 [details] Image showing the bug If I resize the message pane larger, I'll lose the attachement windows. I use a 1024 x 768 resolution and it impossible to reach the attachement windows in a 800 x 600 resolution.
I tried this bug with the classic theme and it still there. See the image (attachement).
Confirming, although it doesn't occur with a long subject, which is just truncated instead. Wonder if linkified text (the from: address) can wrap or be truncated at all... updating severity; you can still go to file menu to manipulate attachments.

Present in 1.7.12 on OS/2 according to newsgroup comments. Bug 328040 is similar, though apparently distinguishable. Bug 322604 should probably be duped to this?
