Yes this is a big drawback to mozilla. I had to reinstall winxp and now installed
mozilla, and cannot import my filters, mail bookmarks, nothing. Maybe I`m too
stupid. And it would be good when you are willing to make it that when I import
my mail it doesn`t overwrite emails I`ve gathered during the time I had the new
installation, I mean that mozilla should just add them, with all folder
structure etc.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

Actual Results:
My old profile is waiting on you to make it go into my new installation.

Expected Results:
Stop my backed up profile to wait !!!!!

That would make mozilla nearly perfect for it.
see bug 63389 comment 55 for workaround.
