The browser "Personal Tool Bar" currently has buttons for "home" and
"bookmarks". Please allow for mutliple "homes" and "bookmarks" for users to
further refine their web shortcuts.
Example: I have 3 pages I go to throughout the day and would benefit from a one
button solution to their access. I would like the ability to name them, such as
"home1" "work" etc. A text limit is fine (10 chars?).
Similarly, I would like multiple bookmark buttons (and sub-menus) instead of
just one. This would help me further control and organize my bookmarks and
speed browsing.
I belive this would also benifit the sidebar too.
Related issue: I've heard there is a way to drag specific bookmarks and entire
bookmark folders onto the Personal Tool Bar. If this is in Mozilla I can't find
it. This would accompish both goals above.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
Go to Bookmarks -> Manage Bookmarks, then File -> New -> Folder. Place the new
folder in the Personal Toolbar Folder. To make a new personal toolbar link
entitled "Home1" or whatever else, go to the site, click Bookmarks -> File
Bookmark..., then select the Personal Toolbar Folder and name the bookmark
whatever you like. You can also go into preferences to set a bookmark group as
your "homepage group" of tabs. Just open Preferences, and it's on the first
panel that opens up.
