After all, Mozilla has a built in mail reader. This would be great for mailing list archives and such. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Got to the demonstration URL and it will tell you it doesn't understand message/rfc822 Actual Results: It will tell you it doesn't understand message/rfc822 Expected Results: Displayed the email message in some intelligent way.

Oops. I installed the mozilla-mail package, and then it worked. *sheepish grin* I should've tried that in the first place. I just don't use Mozilla as an email client.

Firebird isn't able to display the message either, because it doesn't have a mailer. Neither did Safari, btw. Maybe we should file a bug on Firebird to provide support for message/rfc822. If you want to show these messages in a browser, they should probably be sent in plain text or html. You can't depend on the browser. I filed bug 217118 (Firebird) and bug 217149 (Thunderbird) for related issues.
