217347 - Firebird no longer opens when shortcut or acctual file is clicked on

When I attempt to start Mozilla Firebird, nothing happens.  However, when I 
check Windows task manager, nothing appears under the applications tab, but 
MozillaFirebird.exe does appear under the processes tab, using both memory and 
CPU time.  attempts to re-install and re-download have produced the same 
results.  Mozilla worked for 2 weeks-then stopped.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. click on the shortcut for Mozilla Firebird
2. CLick on the Mozilla Firebird application in the Mozilla folder
3.

nothing

Expected Results:  
Loaded a browser window

Have you tried it with a new profile? Run mozillafirebird.exe with the -p switch
and create a new one. Then report back here.

This could be bug 205129 at work
