from the help menu of Venkman, About Venkman shows no other reaction than
closing the menu.

Perhaps another bug, but I don´t know how to use Venkman:
I started Mozilla with an empty page, then Venkman, and got ?XstringBundle
displayed in the top field.

Hermann, on my build (2003082403/OS X) the help>about venkman option prints a
bunch of text in the "Interactive Session" (bottom right by default) for you to
read. Included in that text is a link to the FAQ which should get you started.

If this isn't the case please report back what build of Mozilla you are using.

after Chris´ explanation.
When I look in the help menue, and see a new about, I´m expecting the same
behaviour as from the other abouts, but About:Mozilla opens a new window,
about:Plugins reuses it, About:Venkman has also it´s own window, so what.

I had View:interactive session disabled, so I had no chance to see about:venkman
or the other info. Seems to be my fault, once a month I try to get acquainted
with JS console or Venkman.

Changing bug to RFE, it would be nice, if the info would be displayed in a
visible window, or a browser window.
