RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 163254

People

(Reporter: gergely, Assigned: law)

Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.5b) Gecko/20030828
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.5b) Gecko/20030828

Take any page with a .JPG image being displayed, and ask to save the file. The
default file name becomes <name>.JFIF, where <name> is the original filename.
For example, I am displaying HTTP://.../2.jpg, and type Clover-S, or Save. The
default filename becomes 2.jpg.JFIF

It really should stay just 2.jpg

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. See details
2.
3.

Expected Results:
Mozilla should have used the filename as default.
