Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.5a) Gecko/20030728 Mozilla Firebird/0.6.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla Thunderbird 0.2a (20030813) When attempting to connect to a mail server (POP3 or IMAP) after a connection failure (for example because of a network problem), the password manager forgets the password that was last entered. I guess this may be a 'feature' so that you can enter a new one - but overtyping would be good enough. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Attempt to log into a mail server (POP3 or IMAP) 2. The server does not respond (i.e. it has failed) 3. Thunderbird asks for the password again, but doesn't suggest the previous one. Actual Results: The 'Mail Server Password Required' dialog does not contain a password even though the 'Use Password Manager to remember this password' item was previously clicked. Expected Results: The previous password should be added to the text entry area (as per the password manager preference).
Just tested in latest build: Mozilla Thunderbird 0.2a (20030826) It is still a bug.

I hope it's the right one though it resides in browser / password manager *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 160425 ***
