Details

I have Netscape 4.x configured via my .Xdefaults so that wheel-mouse-up/down means move up/down by several lines, ctrl-wheel-up/down means move up/down by a screenful, and meta-wheel-up/down means move forward/back in the page history. Under Mozilla, modifiers are ignored, and they all end up meaning move up/down several lines (which is better than nothing, of course).

Seth has offered to help with this. Thanks!

bryner did the work, and I just made a few tweaks, and checked it in. he has a final tomorrow at U of I, and yet he finds time to hack mozilla. how cool is that? you can configure the mouse wheel under Preferences | Advanced | Mouse Wheel right now, the back end doesn't listen to the prefs, but that's a bug for bryner. re-assign to him so he can fix the back end.

Target Milestone: M13
Marking M13 and changing to Assigned. This is progressing fairly well.
I just checked in the code to support this. The mousewheel prefs pane should now be working. I'll mark this Fixed once I get some feedback on it.
