Outlook works correct. Other accounts (with "standard" username) on Mozilla works correct too. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Just try to get (or sent when smtp auth. is req.) Mail when userneme is "user@host" string. I can create account on server http://futuro.pl if You want to try to see this problem. (please contact me: rzukow@gazeta.pl)

Works for me and has for quite some time on Linux, everything from 1.0 up to 1.5b. You're sure you have the username, server name, and port correct?
Reporter, please review all of bug 216927 and see if anything in there helps you self-resolve this bug as either: Duplicate of 141156 - Only the dialog itself is incorrect. Invalid or WFM - some typo in login causes the dialog to show, etc. If you think this is a different matter, please provide a stepwise process for full reproduction.
Ok, I was wrong. The problem with login to pop3 server is when exist in password an unnormal sign. In my password there was a letter "ł" from polish alphabet. I changed password and it's all OK, but Outlook goes with old passwd (with polish letters) too. I don't know this is the bug or no, but it's true;) Sorry for panic rzukow
please see bug 218025 (just filed).
