User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030624 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030624 When viewing pages that have running flash animations, like http://homestarrunner.com/awexome.html, command-n will not open a new window as it usually does, nor will command-w close the window. It seems like this only happens when the flash can take input, like after one clicks "start" on the page above. Also, if I manually click on another window and come back to the one with the flash, the shortcuts seem to work again Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to http://homestarrunner.com/awexome.html 2.Let the little intro part load. 3. Click "Click here to start". 4. Once the game begins, hit command-n or command-w. They will not work Actual Results: Nothing happens (which is the problem). A new window will not open and the current page will not close. Expected Results: The shortcuts should work even when flash movies are playing.

The problem is that the Flash window traps the events, so Mozilla never even knows they happened (the OS never tells us about them).
