User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030624 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030624 I minimized my download manager one day and it just dissappeared. I tried clicking on it under the Tools menu, and it just flashes real quick on the task task bar, then vanishes again instantly. I tried installing a newer version of Mozilla, tried uninstalling Mozilla and reinstalling it, tried uninstalling Mozilla, deleting all folders and files related to Mozilla and cleaning the registry of all Mozilla entries. Reload Mozilla and still can't open Download Manager, does the exact same thing, click on it under Tools, and it flashes for a split second, then goes away. If I start a download, I see nothing telling me about it unless I change my options to have it open a download window, but download manager never opens. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Minimized download manager. 2.Download Manager never comes back. 3. Actual Results: Download Manager does not open anymore....ever. Expected Results: Make Download Manager minizeable without it never coming back.

check your preferences: Edit -> Preferences -> Navigator -> Downloads If this is ok, you can try in your profile, at your own risk, while mozilla isn´t running, Quickstart off: Delete XUL.mfl, it will be rebuild at next start. If that doesn´t work: Make a backup of localstore.rdf, and delete the file. It should be recreated at next start, but you have to adjust the window sizes. If that doesn´t work: Make a backup of downloads.rdf, and delete the file. You will lose your download history. (That is faster as deleting files one-by-one in the Download Manager, if you could use it). There will be no files deleted, only the listing of these files in the download manager. If that doesn´t work: Delete compreg.dat in Mozillas Components directory. It will be rebuild at next start. Or simply wait for 1.5 ;-) if any of the tips was working, please post which one.
