in the check spelling dialog you are able to select the language being checked.
you can also select 'Download More', this opens a blank window.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Compose a new message
2. Type some words
3. Click the 'Spell' button to open the 'Check Spelling' dialog
4. Select 'Download More' from the Language drop-down.

Actual Results:  
A blank mozilla window was opened, with no address in the address bar

Expected Results:  
A mozilla window should open to display the appropriate address where you can
download more languages.
this is covered by bug 217875, but this bug report is clearer
I couldn't find a dupe so confirming this bug for now

bug 217875 was about Mozilla blocking, because the window was modal. This is not
the case anymore so that bug is fixed and this bug should still be open? Or is
217875 still open because of comment #2?

Sorry, my fault, you're right.
This bug is about the blank window that should point to the appropriate page.
This is not fixed by the patch in bug 217875 so we still need this bug.

The reason is that we try to open 'urn:clienturl:composer:spellcheckers', which
should be defined at
http://lxr.mozilla.org/seamonkey/source/xpfe/global/resources/locale/en-US/builtinURLs.rdf#51
. But it's defined as about:blank, so that's no surprise it doesn't work.

This should be easy to fix, if we can find a good location that won't ever
change (a redirect at mozilla.org for example). See bug 217875 comment 9.
