Paradiso (one of the best known Dutch venues) have "improved" their site so that only NS4/IE5+Flash5 visitors may enter. Agent spoofing doesn't help in this case.
wfm Yesterday's firebird seems to work OK [looks the same as IE on XP]. After clicking on the BIG logo a new window is spawned. Note that you don't get a visual indicator that you should click on that logo. Also, it is possible that you trap the new window with your pop-up blocker? Finally, perhaps this is solaris only? [if so, then the issue may not be so much of a Tech Evang issue].
Seems a bit better now. Site seems to allow access, however the front page still specifies which resolution/plugins/browser you should be using. Shall we mark this fixed or leave it open until that last problem is solved?

Hmm....tough call. The requirements seem fair enough. Plugins, resolution. The browser listing is a bit limited : IE5+ and NS4.7+. No Safari, No Opera...and No Mozilla..... I'd suggest to leave it like this. Because mozilla users can acces the site w/o problems or warnings. The alternative is pointing out to them that it's better to sniff for unsupported browsers/missing plugins and in THAT case offer the option to continue or to change browser. But as i said Moz users won't have a problem. Suggesting WFM.
Agreed, WFM.
