Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5b) Gecko/20030827
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5b) Gecko/20030827
In the mail composition window, in the address pane, if you delete an address
by pressing Backspace repeatedly to empty the address box and then once more
to delete the line, then you can no longer edit any of the other addresses
in the list. The Delete and Backspace keys no longer work; clicking to
place the text cursor doesn't work, although dragging does seem to select
text.
The problem seems to have appeared in 1.5b or 1.5a. (I hadn't noticed the
problem in 1.4.)
Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click at the end of an address's text box (probably preferably an address
with one before and one after it).
2. Press Backspace until all characters are deleted.
3. Press Backspace once more to delete the current address box/line and
move to the previous.
4. Try using the Backspace and Delete keys, and clicking to place the text
cursor, in remaining addresses.
Actual Results:
I was no longer able to delete or edit addresses.
Expected Results:
Worked correctly, of course. :-)
Posiible workaround: click in the message body field and then everything works
well with the addresses too.
