If I'm on a site and try to drag'n'drop a bookmark onto the toolbar, I get the little "boop" error noise and nothing else happens. It seemed to be working before I I accidentally hit the hard-reset button instead of the sleep button on my case. This is probably a "Firebird doesn't work well on un-clean exits" issue. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Hard-exit Firebird(?), possibly by powering down your computer while it's open. 2. Visit a site you want to bookmark. 3. Try to drag'n'drop the bookmark onto the bookmarks toolbar. Actual Results: Little boop noise and no bookmark on the toolbar. Expected Results: It should have made a bookmark on the bookmark toolbar.
>"Firebird doesn't work well on un-clean exits" issue. This is an unfortunate feature of most of the software i've ever used. =)
This happens with corrupt bookmarks files. There are bugs out there that deal with better fault-tolerance for bookmarks and other files, such as backup versions etc, but in the meantime corrupting a file does have consequences.
sorry for bugspam, long-overdue mass reassign of ancient QA contact bugs, filter on "beltznerLovesGoats" to get rid of this mass change
