User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5a) Gecko/20030728 Mozilla Firebird/0.6.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5a) Gecko/20030728 Mozilla Firebird/0.6.1

When I for example click on the URL Bar in Firebird. and type say googl

that will display my hist of google.com. sometimes it doesn't have just plain
google.com but will have say

google.com/this/that/theother/etc

Well I scroll down to that, remove the /this/that/theother/etc part strike the
return key and the url that loads is
http://www.google.com/this/that/theother/etc even though I deleted it. this has
been going on since firebird was phoenix.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

Actual Results:
gave me http://www.google.com/this/that/theother/etc

Expected Results:
Should have given me just http://www.google.com
ass soon as i type www.go, www.google.com is the first entry in the drop down
list. i have no idea why it woudn't be in yours as well.

anyway, i can confirm the rest of the bug, and i'll give a better list of steps
to reproduce.

1. begin typing a URL you visit often (such as google) into your URL bar.
2. use the up/down arrows to highlight one of the entries in the drop down. you
will notice that what you typed in the URL bar will match what is currently
selected in the drop down history.
3. click in the URL bar, and backspace part of the URL.
4. hit enter.

Expected results: browser will navigate to the address in the URL bar.

Actual results: browser navigates to the address you highlighted in the URL
history list, ignoring all the backspace-ing you did.
