Firebird crashes when you tell it to be or not to be your default browser and
the next time you run it may not ask you depending on your chose but it will
still crash

i have exteseve info from microsoft error reporter

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.open firebird 
2.if it asks you chose to become or not your defalt browser
3.floppy drive runs at the point of crash then it wont respond 

Actual Results:  
I tried to push the x to close and windows asked if I wanted to close the
non-responsive program. I clicked yes and the error reporter came up.

Expected Results:  
no Hang and the abblty to browses the net

backgrownd programs: ati tool icon, msn mesnger norton sysworks nero incd

Probably a duplicate of bug 205129.

Patrick: See http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=205129#c15 for a
work-around or test if the problem goes away when you use a recent nightly build.

(Firebird 0.6.1 is already a bit old to report bugs against. You should always
try a current nightly build before reporting bugs, because the bug you are
seeing may be fixed already.)

Please reopen only if you can replicate this on a current nightly build.
