User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.5b) Gecko/20030827
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.5b) Gecko/20030827

After upgrading from 1.5a to 1.5b, selecting any mailbox other than Inbox brings
up an Alert window: "The current command did not succeed. The mail server
responded: SELECT failed: Can't open mailbox mailclients/.../bla: no such
mailbox." Similar alerts appear when trying to move an e-mail to another
mailbox, or when Mozilla tries to move Junk mail to the junk folder.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open mail client
2. Select mailbox other than Inbox
3. Alert appears

Actual Results:
When selecting a mailbox I get the alert but it then shows the e-mail in that
mailbox. However, trying to move mail into another mailbox from the Inbox does
not work; this includes sending an e-mail, creating a copy in the Sent folder
does not work.

Expected Results:
When selecting a mailbox other than the Inbox it should simply display the
contents of the mailbox without an Alert. Also, I should be able to move or copy
e-mail to another mailbox successfully and without an error.

This behavior began immediately after upgrading from 1.5a to 1.5b, with no other
changes.
please try a newer build - I checked in a fix for this last week. Or, add a
trailing slash to the IMAP server directory in the advanced imap server prefs.
This happens to me as well (on Linux, with Thunderbird) whenever I exit (it says
the Trash mailbox wasn't found or something to that extent - I think it's trying
to empty the trash - but it *does* empty it). I don't know if the Thunderbird
bug is related, but I imagine they would be.
this should be fixed in latest 1.5, 1.6 and thunderbird builds.

This bug is definitely not fixed. It is still happening with "Mozilla
Thunderbird 0.3 (20030925)" on Linux. I do not have any mailbox folder: that
text field is blank. If I put a "/" there, it says it couldn't find the mailbox
/Trash.
Keith, are you saying you can't select any folder, or you just get an error on
exit emptying the trash? Could you attach an imap protocol log?

Also, are you saying you haven't set the online server directory? Is that what
you mean by "I do not have any mailbox folder: that text field is blank. "? A
protocol log would help me see what it's doing.

Gary, are you still having your problem?

If I select Trash, I get an error alert box saying SELECT failed, blah blah.
Every time I exit, I get that same message. I can select Sent, but I think I
might've created that manually to stop the errors when sending outgoing mail. I
can't remember now.

I guess I haven't set the online server directory. I added a new IMAP account
and didn't modify the configuration except to turn SSL on.
