Paul, what version of OS X are you using? Do you see any error messangers in the
console when you crash?

OS Version 10.1.4

I see the following, alhtough I'm not certain they're related to the crash:

*** malloc[358]: Deallocation of a pointer not malloced: 0x1d060; This could be
a double free(), or free() called with the middle of an allocated block; Try
setting environment variable MallocHelp to see tools to help debug

dyld: /Volumes/Mozilla/Mozilla.app/Contents/MacOS/mozilla-bin Undefined symbols:

/Volumes/Mozilla/Mozilla.app/Contents/MacOS/components/libimgicon.dylib
