Details

In particular the one I'm looking for is a "Compact Folder" button, since I
use that feature very frequently.
  But, more generally, it would be nice if you could just magically create
buttons.  Take a menu function and drag it into the toolbar customizer panel, or
some such.  How feasable is this?
