From Bug #79186 : 1. From mail window: Edit|Mail/News Account Settings|<account name>|Offline & Disk Space panel. 2. Click Select button which takes you to the select items dialog. Note you are not able to select an account level; there is no checkbox provided. Must select all the folders individually. The reason for opening a new bug is that this is assigned to people who are no longer in Mozilla development, so the previous bug is stale. David Bienvenu has said this shouldn't be very difficult to implement: "That part of the spec was never implemented, as far as I know. So you have to choose each one by hand. It probably wouldn't be too hard to implement this. I don't know if there's a bug on this, but if not, you could file a new one. - David" Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Mail & Newsgroups 2. Go to Edit->Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings 3. Go to Offline & Disk Space under a mail account 4. Click "Select" Actual Results: No checkbox available next to the account name Expected Results: Have a checkbox next to the account name, which would enable you to click on it to select every mail folder in that account for offline use, and when you uncheck it, it would uncheck every mail folder.

When someone decides to work on this, he can just reassign the bug to him/her. There a lots of bugs in bugzilla with inactive email addresses. I don't think it would be a good idea to start filing new bugs for all of these. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 79186 ***
